In July 2025, residential customers in Indiana paid an average of 16.18¢ per kilowatthour, up 10.0% on the same month a year earlier (14.71¢). The US average for the month was 17.45¢; Indiana was 7.3% below that. It ranked 21st highest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Residential sales were 3,920,232 MWh, up 14.5% on a year earlier, and the average residential bill for the month was $211.38 on 1,306 kWh. Weather moves monthly sales far more than prices do, so bills swing with the season.
