In April 2024, residential customers in New Mexico paid an average of 13.81¢ per kilowatthour, up 2.8% on the same month a year earlier (13.43¢). The US average for the month was 16.86¢; New Mexico was 18% below that. It ranked 36th highest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
