In February 2025, residential customers in Pennsylvania paid an average of 18.00¢ per kilowatthour, up 4.2% on the same month a year earlier (17.27¢). The US average for the month was 16.43¢; Pennsylvania was 9.6% above that. It ranked 15th highest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Residential sales were 5,335,004 MWh, up 13.9% on a year earlier, and the average residential bill for the month was $173.55 on 964 kWh. Weather moves monthly sales far more than prices do, so bills swing with the season.
