In November 2025, residential customers in Utah paid an average of 13.07¢ per kilowatthour, up 7.1% on the same month a year earlier (12.20¢). The US average for the month was 17.78¢; Utah was 26% below that. It ranked 46th highest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Residential sales were 803,146 MWh, down 2.6% on a year earlier, and the average residential bill for the month was $82.57 on 632 kWh. Weather moves monthly sales far more than prices do, so bills swing with the season.
