In February 2026, residential customers in Utah paid an average of 13.33¢ per kilowatthour, up 7.6% on the same month a year earlier (12.39¢). The US average for the month was 17.65¢; Utah was 24% below that. It ranked 40th highest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Residential sales were 800,153 MWh, down 4.6% on a year earlier, and the average residential bill for the month was $83.52 on 626 kWh. Weather moves monthly sales far more than prices do, so bills swing with the season.
