In April 2025, residential customers in Vermont paid an average of 22.97¢ per kilowatthour, up 5.9% on the same month a year earlier (21.70¢). The US average for the month was 17.55¢; Vermont was 31% above that. It ranked 10th highest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
