In April 2026, residential customers in Vermont paid an average of 24.56¢ per kilowatthour, up 6.9% on the same month a year earlier (22.97¢). The US average for the month was 18.83¢; Vermont was 30% above that. It ranked 11th highest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
