In February 2025, residential customers in Washington paid an average of 12.47¢ per kilowatthour, up 9.6% on the same month a year earlier (11.38¢). The US average for the month was 16.43¢; Washington was 24% below that. It ranked 39th highest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.

Residential sales were 4,269,252 MWh, up 12.1% on a year earlier, and the average residential bill for the month was $157.01 on 1,259 kWh. Weather moves monthly sales far more than prices do, so bills swing with the season.
