In July 2026, residential customers in Washington paid an average of 14.71¢ per kilowatthour, up 9.4% on the same month a year earlier (13.45¢). The US average for the month was 18.31¢; Washington was 20% below that. It ranked 39th highest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
