In July 2026, residential customers in Wyoming paid an average of 14.36¢ per kilowatthour, down 1.9% on the same month a year earlier (14.64¢). The US average for the month was 18.31¢; Wyoming was 22% below that. It ranked 41st highest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Residential sales were 266,451 MWh, up 11.6% on a year earlier, and the average residential bill for the month was $130.77 on 911 kWh. Weather moves monthly sales far more than prices do, so bills swing with the season.
