In March 2026, residential customers in Florida paid an average of 14.86¢ per kilowatthour, down 1.5% on the same month a year earlier (15.08¢). The US average for the month was 18.56¢; Florida was 20% below that. It ranked 36th highest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Residential sales were 9,646,504 MWh, up 6.3% on a year earlier, and the average residential bill for the month was $133.38 on 897 kWh. Weather moves monthly sales far more than prices do, so bills swing with the season.
