In April 2026, residential customers in Florida paid an average of 15.38¢ per kilowatthour, little changed on the same month a year earlier (15.26¢). The US average for the month was 18.83¢; Florida was 18% below that. It ranked 33rd highest among the 50 states and the District of Columbia.
Residential sales were 9,876,591 MWh, little changed on a year earlier, and the average residential bill for the month was $141.23 on 918 kWh. Weather moves monthly sales far more than prices do, so bills swing with the season.
